Charming those craftsman with his comedic skills
Working as a welder was never going to highlight his thrills
So, he left the dirt and grime behind to become top of the bill
It was L.W.T and The boys in Blue
And the Kenny Everett show in 1982
Years of comedy and last of the summer wine
He soon became known as one of the best comedians of all time.

All this interaction made them the most entertaining Northern live wires
In his latter T.V days there was Benidorm, The Cockfields and the last laugh in Vegas
We will always wonder how this ordinary man did not consider himself to be famous?
Well, he’s taken his last coach trip and become a shooting star
Ultimately he will always be remembered for how he made us laugh…
